Cousin T

My husband’s cousin stopped by our state for a visit.  We hadn’t seen her in about thirteen years, and she’s about to head off to military BMT.  She wanted to have her portrait done for her grandma before she leaves, and I was all too happy to oblige.

It’s been quiet…

I’ll admit, there hasn’t been much to report lately.  But I did finally receive my new camera last night, and here are a few images from a rather informal test shoot this afternoon.

A local band from Bellevue, Jim Nasty, commissioned me to do their portraits, as well as capture the insanity that is typical at their shows.  They were very laid back to photograph and a lot of fun to watch!

I had the privilege of using up the last gorgeous, un-snowed day of fall with Stacey and Tyler doing their engagement session.  What photographer wouldn’t love the combination of sweet afternoon light, a couple so stinkin’ in love that they can’t hide it, and beautiful fall foliage?  I love my job!

Julia (“Gulia”) has joined the mortal coil!  She is the most curious and wisest-seeming infant I have ever met.  She and her family are a joy to work with, and I look forward to more of the same in the future!
